Latest Honeycomb OS on new tab ahead of UK release
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 equipped with Android 3.1
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been upgraded the latest Honeycomb OS, before its actual release.
The yet to be released 10-inch tablet was previously set to launch with Android 3.0, but following Google’s announcement of Android 3.1 earlier this month Samsung have opted to ship the Galaxy tab with the latest OS.
Currently, the UK release date remains unknown, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is already on sale in Vodafone stores.
The Android 3.1 software will bring scrollable homescreen widgets, system resource management to extend battery life while multi-tasking and the ability to import photos from a camera or use USB keyboards, mice and trackpads through USB hosting.
