Samsung Galaxy S4 launch planned in Times Square

Public invited to view unveiling in bustling hub of New York

Samsung Galaxy S4 rumours started just a few weeks after the launch of the S3 but now it would appear as though the wait is nearly over with a New York launch planned

Samsung is planning to unveil the new Samsung Galaxy S4 to the public in Times Square alongside the official launch which is taking place at Radio City Music Hall.

The invite mentions the official Twitter profile of Times Square whilst inviting the public to 'be the first in the world to experience it' by heading to Times Square on March 14th.

Samsung revealed that it would be launching the next Galaxy smartphone at MWC 2013 after months of speculation over whether the company would indeed be keeping to its annual schedule.

Samsung Galaxy S4 specs

The Galaxy SIV specs have been a closely guarded secret however recent leaks have pointed towards the company using an eight core processor along with a huge 2GB of RAM.

Keeping in line with current releases like the Sony Xperia Z and the HTC One it's expected that Samsung will use a 5-inch Full HD screen but with a much smaller bezel allowing the dimensions to be almost identical to that of the Samsung Galaxy S3.
