Although yet confirmed, new reports have suggested the Samsung Galaxy S3 wireless charging unit has been delayed until a September arrival
With a May 30th Samsung Galaxy S3 UK release date pencilled in to the diaries, reports have suggested that the wireless charging unit unveiled alongside the S2 follow-on last week will miss then handset’s arrival by a considerable margin with a September arrival now touted as on the cards.
“We’ve just been told some pretty bad news relating to the Samsung Galaxy S3,” tech site Mobile Fun said. “Tthe Official Wireless Charger (EAD-K10UBEGSTD) we’ve all been so excited about won’t be released until September! So we’re looking at nearly a four month wait for the wireless charging dock.”
The spokesperson added: “We have no further info at the moment on this - unfortunately the latest date for release is approx Sept. 2012”
Allowing users to forgo fiddly cables, the wireless charging dock is to allow Samsung Galaxy S3 owners to give their handset’s a battery replenishing boost simply by placing the device on the corresponding charging panel.
