Two new Samsung Android handsets target MWC arrival
Having leaked last week under the moniker of the Samsung Galaxy S Mini, official looking pics of the upcoming Samsung handset have appeared online with the Android 2.2 touting device freshly dubbed the Galaxy Ace.
Styled as a scaled-down version of last year’s acclaimed Samsung Galaxy S launch, the newly named Ace, also known as the Samsung S5830, is said to feature a 3.5-inch 320x480p Super AMOLED display and run Google’s Android 2.2, FroYo, operating system supported by a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities and the full selection of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options.
Leaked alongside the Galaxy Ace in the round of official looking pictures s the lower-speced device crowned the Samsung Galaxy Suit. The Suit, model number S5670, looks set to replace the Samsung i5500 Galaxy Europa and will once again come sporting version 2.2 of the Android mobile OS, FroYo.
Both devices are expected to officially shed their cloaks of mystery and be grandly unveiled during Samsung’s opening press conference of Mobile World Congress 2011 set to take place in Barcelona on February 13th.
