The Samsung Galaxy S III Mini smartphone, which is a compact version of Samsung's flagship Galaxy S, will be available for purchase in the UK on November 8th and will ship with free gaming content in the form of The Sims 3 and Bejewelled 2.
Powered by the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the Galaxy S III Mini comes with a 4-inch screen, compared to the 4.8-inch screen offered by the S III and offers a dual core processor rather than a quad core. The device is aimed at the mid-range smartphone market and is expected to compete against the iPhone 5, which is roughly the same in size.
The specs of the device also include a 5-megapixel camera, NFC support and a choice between 8GB and 16GB of storage plus an SD card slot. The S III Mini also give its users the Samsung Video and Games Hub, as well as a 50GB Dropbox which is free for two years.
