White Samsung Galaxy S II launching in August?
Samsung Galaxy S II white: release coming next month
Samsung is to launch a white version of the market leading Samsung Galaxy S II handset in August, online retailer Clove has revealed.
Having sold more than 5 million units in its opening 85 days and heading for a US launch next month Samsung’s dual-core Galaxy S II is a true powerhouse of the mobile market with retail Clove announcing it will offer a white version of the handset from “approximately the 15th August.”
“We can confirm that the massively popular Samsung Galaxy S II 16GB will be available from Clove in WHITE from approximately the 15th August,” the retailer’s blog read in making the announcement. It went on to add: “This model is exactly the same as the 16GB black model, the only difference being the colour.”
With Samsung yet to make an official announcement on a white Galaxy S II Clove was unable to back up its claims with images of the lighter-hued handset. If true the white Galaxy S II will land with the same 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities and 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display as its black sibling.
