Ahead of MWC 2012 and the expected arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S3 yet another addition to Samsung’s array of Android powered Galaxy handsets has been outed with the Samsung Galaxy S Advance officially unveiled.
Announced as sporting an array of specs suspiciously similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy R the Samsung Galaxy S Advance is the latest addition to an increasingly crowded selection of Galaxy branded handsets touching down alongside the likes of the market leading Galaxy S II and Galaxy W devices.

Landing with the midrange handset market in mind the Samsung Galaxy S Advance sports a flurry of strong specs with a 1GHz dual-core processor providing the grunt for this Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS touting device.
Whilst a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with 480 x 800p resolution features on the handset’s front with a 1.3-megapixel forward-facing camera the back plays host to a 5-megapoixel rear-mounted snapper with 720p HD video recording capabilities.

Although Samsung has yet to unveil a release date or official Samsung Galaxy S Advance price it is believed the Korean tech giant will showcase the upcoming device at MWC 2012 ahead of hitting the stores in the following weeks.
