Samsung Galaxy Note 2 review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2, officially revealed at last week’s IFA tech fest in Berlin, is set up for pre-order now on Unlocked Mobiles. The hulking device costs £544 SIM-free and is set to be released on 15 October.

With a 5.5-inch screen, 1.6Ghz quad-core processor and smart stylus, the Galaxy Note 2 promises to be one of 2012’s hottest smartphones. Chuck in Android Jelly Bean and you’re looking at a device which is bound to have plenty of phone fanatics reaching for it rather than the forthcoming iPhone 5.

While the SIM-free price is steep, deals for the Samsung Galaxy 2 should begin flooding in over the coming weeks. If you’re skint and happy to sign your life away on a two year contract, then that’s probably the smarter option.
