Samsung Galaxy Apollo heading to Orange

Budget Samsung handset appears as 'Coming Soon'

Apollo's latest mission lands on the Orange planet

A new addition to Samsung’s range of Galaxy devices is waiting to join the party as the Samsung Galaxy Apollo appears on the ‘Coming Soon’ pages of the Orange website.

So far exclusively shown by the colourful network provider, the budget handset doesn’t pose a threat to Samsung’s other forthcoming handset, the Samsung Galaxy S.

The Galaxy Apollo’s spec list can generously be described as minimalist with its offering of a 3.2-inch touch screen, 3-megapixel camera and “up to 1GB of external memory”.

Whilst its storage capacity might be from back-in-the-day, or at least five years ago, the Galaxy Apollo could well be targeting the lowest ends of the mobile market.

Its appearance on Orange’s coming soon section under PAYG and free on contract would suggest this however exact pricing or a confirmed UK release date have yet to be released.
