Samsung and Google to hook up for Switch phone?

Now all iPhone mock ups have been rendered useless, it's time for a new model to step up and give us our dose of tenuous mobile gossip.

iPhone has finally arrived. But with six months to wait (at least), we need another web rumour to satisfy our demands. Step forward Samsung's Google Switch phone.

The two have hooked up in the past, with Google slapping their software on the Ultra Edition 13.8 slider last month. However, if we're to believe the latest tittle tattle, a new model is on the way. Apparently, there'll be no on board storage, meaning you'll get everything you need over the network instead. If you want new apps, you can attach them via the web.

It's doubtful that this will be giving Apple boffins many sleepless nights. They've already got Google on board and if what we've seen is anything to go by, this Samsung-tie up remains a distant dream at best.
