Retro Nintendo dream machine

Wii's Virtual Console is all well and good, but for the ultimate retro experience try the FC Twin - it's a SNES and NES combined, and simply the best way to revive your old titles.

Cooked up by Nintendo fans, it's perfectly legal as the patents on both NES and SNES systems have expired, and completely compatible with old peripherals and game cartridges.

And if it's authenticity you're after, look no further. There are full chipsets inside for both systems, and all original add ons will sit pretty running on FC Twin.

That means a new lease of life for discarded Mario Paint mice, or even a second outing for your aging Super Scope.

A single switch swaps between the two systems, so you can leave two cartridges in at a time. Get your hands on one for around £30, although we're yet to see a PAL version, so it's import only for the time being folks.
