Pure launches Contour 200i Air AirPlay speaker dock
Pure has announced a neat-looking, AirPlay enabled speaker dock at the CES Unveiled event in Las Vegas.
The Pure Contour 200i Air speaker allows you to play your musical collection wirelessly through your iTunes-enabled Mac or PC or through iOS devices like the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
The attractive speaker system, which will cost $329 (£213) in the US, also supports physical docking for your device.
According to the official press release, the 200i Air "produces 36W RMS of digital quality sound delivering an expansive, room-filling listening experience. The DSP corrected, high-efficiency audio amplifiers and custom designed 3.5 inch dual full-range speaker drive units ensure exceptional clarity and tonal richness."
The device, which features an LED-display showcasing what you're currently listening to, can be hooked-up to your home-entertainment system and there's also an auxiliary port to plug-in non-Apple MP3 players.
It'll be available to buy from March in North America, while there's no word yet on a UK launch.
