Wooden box returns with super-clear stereo sound

The look might be familiar, but the Pure EVOKE-2S DAB radio promises an all-new benchmark in stereo DAB radio.

Packed into that trademark maple casing is Pure's Clearsound technology, which fine tunes the audio from the mid-range speakers and tweeters to knock out 30W of enhanced stereo output. A radio that sounds as good as it looks - or so Pure claims.

If that's not enough, Pure has also thrown in ReVu to pause and rewind live DAB, Intellitext and textSCAN radio info on the OLED screen, an improved alarm, plenty of presets and the option of a rechargeable battery. Look out for it from November, priced at £169.99.
