PSP gets video download service

Sky brings you movies, sport and comedy on the move

It seems like it's long overdue, but Sony's PlayStation Portable has finally been endowed with a download service so we can watch telly while we're on the wander.

Having teamed up with Sky to launch the terribly punctuated Go!View, the PSP can now transform into a personalised TV service where you can watch what you want when you want. Working on a subscription or pay-per-view format, once you've registered on the website shows are accessible for download via your PC.

Due to launch this summer, there's no word on pricing or what actual shows/movies are on offer, but Sky promises entertainment, comedy, sport and films for what is the first official PSP download service in Europe. Hit up the great-looking but slow-loading website to register.
