PS4 and Xbox 720 not needed yet says Take-Two

Games creators in no rush for console sequels says CEO

With E3 literally round the corner games creators have been promoting the potential of the PS3 and Xbox 360.

The CEO of Take-Two games has come forward saying that our current consoles still have plenty of room for innovative creations and the need for a replacement is just not there yet.

With the hype surrounding E3 reaching fever pitch and the arrival of a Wii sequel now certain, games creators have been keen to highlight the differences between the Wii and other consoles.

Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnich was keen to point out that just because the Wii was getting a replacement this certainly wasn't an indication that other companies should follow, talking to MCV he said.

"If you exclude Wii - which one could argue is at least partially a different market than Xbox 360 and PS3...we still have plenty of room to push the limits of creativity in the current console generation"
