Worried that massive porn, sorry, "movie" collection won't fit on the PS3's puny hard drive? Well fret no longer our gadget loving friends - upgrading the new PlayStation's hard drive is so simple even a monkey could do it, providing you give him a crosshead screwdriver.

See, the PS3's storage is hidden just under a flimsy plastic flap on its side, secured in a cradle by just five screws. One to hold the cradle in place, and another four to affix the hard disk to the cradle itself.

Whipping it out took our crack team of gadget experts a little under two minutes, while returning the bracket with a larger disk in place was even quicker.

That's one more reason to shell out less on the 20-gig version when it lands here in March, and upgrade the console with a monster hard disk on day one!
