As rumours abound, Sony Ericsson CEO does little to deny existence of PlayStation Phone.
PlayStation Phone set for MWC release?
Rumours and early spy shots of the PlayStation Phone are so plentiful now, it comes as little surprise that the boss of Sony Ericsson is barely making an effort to conceal the gaming blower’s existence.
Bert Nordberg, Sony Ericsson’s CEO, when asked about the much-vaunted handset by the Wall Street Journal said, “There's a lot of smoke, and I tell you there must be a fire somewhere," before adding, “Sony has an extremely strong offering in the gaming market, and that's very interesting."
As if that wasn’t enough Nordberg also told the WSJ that, “…the future might be brighter,” for a Sony-backed gaming phone. He even said he wanted to make “noise” with a new phone at February’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, implying that the PlayStation Phone could take a bow then.
Of course, the X12 Anzu, could also be outed then. So what’s it to be? A new capacious Android flagship phone? Or the uber-hyped PlayStation cell we’ve been dreaming of for half a decade? Let us know what you think on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
