Desperate for more on Sony Ericsson’s PlayStation Phone? Well, look no further. Two new clips have emerged of the much-hyped handset, showing a dedicated PlayStation icon and the blower’s Android OS.

The good news is that Android 2.3 Gingerbread is sitting pretty inside, a welcome change from Sony Ericsson’s usual policy of loading up its cells with creaking versions of Google’s mobile software.

Word is the PlayStation Phone, known also as the Z1 Zeus, will make an official appearance on 9 December. That’s this Thursday. We’ll be bringing you all the news as it happens, so stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter pages for more.
