Play Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Live for charity
Could there be a better excuse to have a Modern Warfare 2 session?
Gamers that play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Live this weekend will be raising money for the War Child charity. The game’s publisher Activision and retailer GAME have pledged to donate an amount of cash proportionate to the number of people playing Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Live this weekend.
Cynics might consider this something of a PR stunt after a study earlier this week found the gameplay in Modern Warfare 2 was in violation of the Hague regulations governing war crimes.
That said, there’s probably never been a better excuse to ignore your girlfriend and hop on to Xbox Live to play Modern Warfare 2.
