The world’s first cinema dimension 3D TV, the Philips Cinema 21:9 Platinum TV range has been given a November release date following its official unveiling at IFA in Berlin back in September.

A whopping 58-inches across the 21:9 cinema proportioned 3D TV from Philips will land in the UK later this month with a £3,999 price tag and Philips’ Ambilight Spectra 3 technology for an added visual pop.

Although not boxed with the required active shutter 3D specs, the Cinema 21:9 Platinum edition, less catchingly known as the 58PFL9955, will feature Bright Pro, 400Hz Clear LCD technology enhancing the 21:9 image as well as Perfect Pixel HD processing.

Internet capabilities join the cinema styled fry as the 3D Platinum edition TV hosts Philips Net TV hook-up alongside a fully interactive built-in web browser.
