Ahead of this autumn’s PES 2013 release, developer Konami has released a series of new Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 screenshots, outing a number of the title’s featured stadia.
Offering a tantalising look into the upcoming addition to the formerly dominant PES franchise, the latest PES 2013 screens have revealed a selection of the stadia set to feature in the FIFA 13 rival as well as providing a glimpse of some on the ball gameplay action.
PES 2013 Features
In an attempt to close the gap on EA Sport’s market leading FIFA series, Konami has revealed that for the 2012/2013 season it is to focus its efforts on ‘three core pillars of improvement’. Falling under the titles of “PES FullControl, Player ID, and ProActive AI,” the latest football title will feature a higher degree of realism than ever before with every aspect of a match from the keeper to first touch control coming in for an update.
Pairing dynamic first touch features with full manual shooting and passing modes, PES 2013 gamers will take a more in-depth and controlling approach to gameplay than in previous Pro Evo iterations with full manual one-two and responsive defending further engaging fans of the beautiful game.
PES 2013 Release Date
Despite the Japanese developer having yet to offer a precise PES 2013 UK release date, Konami has confirmed, somewhat unsurprisingly, that the eagerly awaited PES 2012 follow-on will hit stores during “autumn 2012.” Based on past releases, an early to mid October launch is likely.
Set to touch down on the usual array of platforms, Konami has confirmed that PES 2013 will launch for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC with PSP and PS2 options also set to be made available.
