Specs for camera-led mobile unleashed ahead of formal announcement.
Panasonic Lumix phone teased
Panasonic is plotting a new direction, teasing a new Lumix phone, which will be unveiled next week at the CEATEC gadget fest over in Japan next week.
While pics remain under wraps, Panny has been more forthcoming with the blower’s specs. Unsurprisingly, being a Lumix gadget, the camera leads the line with a colossal 13 megapixel CMOS sensor. There’s also set to be HD imaging skills, with a 3.3-inch, 854x480 LCD on the front.
Wi-Fi and DLNA support are on board, with a microSDHC slot also thrown in for good measure. The Lumix phone tips the scales at 146g and measures 116x52x17.7mm. That’s quite chunky, which suggests this could have some serious snapper skills inside.
More details are set to land on 5 October, so stay tuned for more as we get it.
