Orbitsound launches new compact T9 soundbar for 2012

First compact audio solution from soundbar-makers Orbitsound

Leaders in their field Orbitsound have come up with a new compact solution that still manages to include the iPhone dock and packs some serious audio grunt

Orbitsound have unveiled their next soundbar the compact T9, which, despite its size is still able to pack the iPhone/iPod dock and also throw out 140W of room-filling sound.

Designed for those smaller rooms such as bedrooms and conservatories the T9 is a truly scaled down soundbar being not much bigger than the central speaker found on current 5.1 systems. That said it still retains the iPhone/iPod dock that is on the Orbitsound T12 v3 and comes with its own more suitably sized subwoofer.

Power is not an issue with the T9 able to command 140RMS at will and with Orbitsound's excellent Spatial Stereo technology the T9 will be able to give listeners perfect sound no matter where they are in the room.

While Orbitsound have kept the design language similar to that of the T12 the T9 features a lacquered wood main cabinet which not only gives it a premium look but also happens to make it almost entirely non-resonant removing distortions that would otherwise hinder the sound quality.

Available from mid-July at John Lewis and selected retailers the T9 will set you back a tidy £200 for the convenience of not having a colossal 5.1 sound system clogging up your bedroom.
