O2 have released the Android 2.2 (FroYo) update for the HTC Desire for a second time today after the original update was plagued by freezing issues.
Originally planned for an early September release, FroYo was found to cause a small number of users to experience freezes and crashes on the O2 loading screen of their HTC Desire handsets so it was removed by O2 while they worked out what was causing the problem.
It looks like the issues have been resolved, however, as Froyo is now live and bringing a number of upgraded features to O2 customers including HD video recording and improved speeds.
