O2 Dell Streak Android FroYo update coming this week
Packing a Dell Streak on O2? Then Christmas just came early. The network has announced that it’s finally unleashing Android 2.2 FroYo onto its version of the slate.
Taking to Twitter to confirm the news, O2 said, “Great news for our Dell Streak owners - the 2.2 FroYo update is coming this week”. Some would say about time: FroYo has been out in the wild longer than the Streak itself.
That said, US Streak owners have had to deal with the news that they won’t be getting FroYo until well into the New Year, by which point it will have been well and truly gazumped, not only by Gingerbread, but also by the next-gen Honeycomb version.
