Following the eagerly awaited Apple iPhone 4S launch, mobile network provider O2 has confirmed it is to stock the Apple iPhone 4 replacement from the October 14th iPhone 4S release date
Announced during Apple’s eagerly awaited October 4th ‘Let’s talk iPhone’ event the iPhone 4S has landed in place of the much mooted iPhone 5 with a form factor identical to that of its predecessor the Apple iPhone 4.
With iPhone 4S UK pricing confirmed by Apple as kicking off at the £499 mark, O2 has confirmed to T3 “Yes we’ll be selling the iPhone 4S,” giving its customers the choice to plump for the latest edition to the game changing iPhone family.
Packing the same ARM A5 1GHz dual-core processor as the iPad 2 the iPhone 4S is to land as a true competitor to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation XE with a new 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera with enhanced light filters to allow for macro snaps and 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities.
Confirming that it will stock the much mooted handset O2 has said it will play host to the upcoming Apple device from the October 14th iPhone 4S UK release date.
Whilst the blue-hued bubbly network has yet to confirm pricing information and tariff rates for the iPhone 4S a spokesperson for O2 told T3 that it will stock both black and white renditions of the iPhone 4 replacement with the 16GB, 32GB and the newly unveiled 64GB storage options to be made available.
