Following the stylus touting tablet's official unveiling earlier today, Samsung has spoken out on its hopes for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Speaking to T3, Dr Hankil Yoon, senior VP product strategy group, Samsung, said: "We are not doing very well in tablet market and we wanted something new to add to category market."
Surprisingly, he continued: "We hope it kills of the Galaxy Tab". The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 launched at IFA more than a year ago, and was recently updated to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0.
"Seeking to kill your own product by releasing increasingly compelling devices might position Samsung as a confident brand. A brand ambitious to improve its products so that the choice for consumers is between several Samsung products rather than between Samsung and its competitorsâ products", said Dr Yoon.
