Nokia officially launches the E63 messaging device
Budget smartphone looks the business
Nokia has introduced its latest corporate buddy, the Nokia E63 messaging device.
A little brother to Nokia's flagship E71 device, the E63 keeps the look and indeed much of the main functionality, just toning it down a bit. For considerably less money than the E71 you get that physical keyboard to answer all the email you can download, quick access to the calendar and contacts, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, a 2MP camera, free access to 1GB of OVI online storage (to go with the 110MB built-in) and a microSD slot to boost it further.
Essentially it's still geared to the suits, although Nokia is at pains to sell the separate 'business' and 'personal' modes and the ease it offers for updating social networks, not to mention running our ever busy lives. The blue and red finishes (as opposed to silver) send out a message too, even if the design is still a bit straight-faced. Look out for it in the coming weeks for 199 Euros or with a lengthy contract for free.
