Smartphone retailer and UK network provider Vodafone has announced Nokia’s first Windows Phone 7 collaborative handset, the Nokia Lumia 800, is now available for pre-order.
Kicking Nokia Lumia UK pre-orders off less than two weeks ahead of the handset’s upcoming release, Vodafone UK has confirmed those looking to snap up the Nokia Windows Phone 7 device can now place orders for the black model. The cyan edition of the phone is to be made available for pre-order later this month with no word yet given on the magenta model.
Available free on £36 per month , 24 month price plans those looking to snap up the black rendition of the injection molded polycarbonate shelled smartphone will be rewarded with 600 inclusive monthly minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile data.
Nokia Lumia 800 Specs
Landing alongside its lower end sibling the Nokia Lumia 710, the 800 is set to boast a bevy of premium specs with a 1.4GHz single-core processor to land alongside 16GB of internal storage and a stunning 3.7-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display.
An 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and 720p HD video recording capabilities is also set to feature with 25GB of cloud storage.
Nokia Lumia 800 Release Date
With fellow smartphone retailer Three announcing last week that it is to offer the long awaited Nokia handset on a pay-as-you-go basis, a SIM-free Nokia Lumia 800 price was set at £399 with the Nokia Lumia 800 release date to take place on November 16th.
