After much speculation over delays or whether the handset would even turn up this month the Lumia 800 has finally arrived

The Nokia Lumia 800 is now on sale in the UK with punters able to get their hands on the Windows Phone 7 smartphone at Phones4u and at the Carphone Warehouse.

Available on all networks at the Carphone Warehouse the Nokia Lumia 800 is also available SIM-Free for the sum of £469.95 while the Lumia is available on contract at Phones4u and is also available for just £399 SIM-Free.

Nokia Lumia 800: Features

The Lumia 800 is Nokia's flagship device after the company made the switch from ditching Symbian to using Windows Phone 7 for all their handsets. Featuring a single polycarbonate shell the Lumia 800 has a 3.7 inch curved screen which features Nokia's Clear Black technology making colours vibrant and gives a contrast that is hard to beat.

Inside you'll find a 1GHz processor alongside 512MB of RAM, while that doesn't sound like much it's been pretty much designed from the bottom up to be the quickest Windows Phone 7 experience around.
