Nokia is set to pull the wrappers off its new E-series flagship, the E7, at Nokia World next week. The Finnish phone fest kicks off in London on 14 September, with Nokia boss Olli-Pekka Kallsvuo holding a keynote where he’ll tote the new handset.
The news comes from a Reuters report which confirms that the device will be on show. The new blower has been the subject of a slew of web gossip. It’s said to rock a 4-inch touchscreen and a kick slider like the old-school N97.
With Symbian 3 running under the hood, this is already starting to look like Nokia’s number one new phone in the run up to Christmas. The much-hyped N9 is unlikely to surface next week, especially as the N8 is being primed for its long-awaited release.
