High-end camera and Symbian 3 seen on Nokia C7

Nokia’s successor to the 5800 XpressMusic and X6 handsets, the Nokia C7 has been spotted in a Hong Kong magazine packing the next generation of the company’s mobile OS, Symbian 3.

Attempting to restore some of Nokia’s prowess in the mid-range handset market, the C7 is known to sport a 3.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with a ‘near HD’ 640x360p resolution alongside the multiple widget and homescreen bragging Symbian 3 OS.

At just 11mm thick, the Nokia C7 will pose a slim and sleek exterior to make its slick OS with multi-touch web browsing and improved memory management over previous incarnations. Further boosting the C7’s potential as a true turning point for Nokia is the tasty inclusion of an 8MP camera and 720p HD video recording capabilities.
