The Nokia C7 looks set to become the latest in a long line of C series cells from the Finnish phone maker. The new effort has just been splashed across the web, with a string of new snaps and specs emerging.
Rocking a capacitive touchscreen, which is said to stretch to 3.5-inches, the C7 will be looking to offer similar skills to the flagship N8, but on a budget. That means that while it’ll come with Symbian 3 under the hood, the camera will be pared back to a still impressive 8 megapixels and it won’t pack Carl Zeiss optics.
These minor drops aside, the C7 will also come microUSB support, although it drops HDMI out for hi-def video sharing. Hardly a hardship if you want a workhorse phone rather than a media powerhouse.
The C7 certainly looks the part, and with Nokia listings confirming the phone is very much real, you can expect it to get the official go ahead at Nokia World, which kicks off in London on 14 September.
