Let the phone take you home

Nokia's 5800 touchscreen used to sell itself as a music phone, being the company's key weapon for shifting its Comes With Music package. Now it's selling itself on the back of its mapping, under the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition banner.

It looks like the 5800 Comes With Music because essentially, it is the same phone. Only this one doesn't just want to play you tunes, it wants to get you home too. So included with the handset are a host of tools to do just that, including a lifetime of voice-guided Drive and Walk navigation pre-loaded, local traffic warnings, Ovi Maps (including points of interest and local weather details), an in-box charger and some Nokia in-car kit.

Of course, it's got everything else the original packed too, headed up by the Symbian S60 operating system, a 3.2-megapixel camera and tasty media player. If all of that makes the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition your perfect travel companion, Nokia will be selling this sim-free in the coming weeks for 285 Euros.
