Nikon X810: mirrorless interchangeable lens camera coming next week

Much-hyped snapper nearly ready

All will be revealed next week.

Nikon’s much-hyped mirrorless interchangeable lens snapper is edging ever closer to release, with Nikon Rumours claiming that the snapper, dubbed the X810, will be out on 24 August.

An image of the camera’s sensor has already been leaked, while features are said to include contrast detect auto focus, F mount lens compatibility and a super slim design in order to entice more than just the camera fanatics.

Nikon will be hoping the X810 will give it a boost against rivals such as Olympus and Panasonic, both of which have found success with their Micro Four Thirds cameras in recent years.
