The Facebook page allows professional and would-be runners to pick from one of three plans - amateur, medium and professional – designed to help them complete a running circuit successfully.
Starting is easy. Users simply have to click on the distance of their choice (there’s 5k, 10k, half and full marathon options) and they’ll be presented with a fitness programme designed to get them moving.
The 5k training plan is set out as a day-by-day calendar, set out over six weeks (the plans get longer as the distance increases). It combines a mix of distance runs, work outs and rest days, designed to push runners hard without the risk of incurring an injury.
Users can print out the PDF to stick to their fridge or download the app on their Android or iOS devices to check their plans on the go.
