It's been another busy day for the tech world - here's the best of the days news in digestible format:

Apple’s iPhone 4 continues to cause controversy following its wobbly arrival last week. After the announcement that the white model would be delayed until late July, Apple fans have been left flabbergasted after the mythical white iPhone 4 was spotted in a UK Apple Store. It popped up in a Sky News report and caused all manner of confusion, with indignant tech bloggers on both sides of the pond left wondering why the dickens they haven’t been able to get their hands on one. Well, it was all a giant tease by Sky News, so it transpires. The featured phone was The Telegraph's review model, and that was the end of that. Alas, looks like anyone holding out for the white iPhone 4 will have to wait until the latter half of July to grab one. The Daily Mail is undoubtedly today’s champion of the confused league though. The paper fell for a fake iPhone 4 recall tweet sent from a bogus account supposedly belonging to Apple CEO, Steve Jobs. It then ran with the story, shouting from the rooftops about a monumental product recall for the new iPhone. Blunder o’clock.

An iPhone alternative has leaked in the shape of the Nokia N9. Or C9. Or whatever you want to call it at this stage, as it still has no official title. Sure does look pretty cracking mind you. The Finnish phone giant has also found time to mock the iPhone 4 signal issues with a cheeky little 'How do you hold your Nokia?' feature. What utter rapscallions.

Gaming news has seen Sony say no to 3D PSP any time soon. Boo, hiss, etc. Elsewhere, Lego Harry Potter has struck Red Dead Redemption down from its high horse. The Wild West caper from the GTA stable had enjoyed five weeks of riding high until Harry and co. have come along and left it, err, spellbound.
