Mobile phone innovation is what we crave here at T3 and Motorola has today announced a world’s first. No, it isn’t a 3D mobile display or holographic calling, it is… a square screen Motorola Android device called the Flipout. Also in mobile news today, Qualcomm announced it is to produce 1.2GHz dual-core processors for smartphones, we are looking forward to that one.

Portable gaming devices are the commuters dream and the two big players have been in the news today. First Sony’s PSP device is creating speculation as rumours circulate of the PSP-4000 with sliding front-screen arriving soon. Nintendo’s DS is also expected to be preparing a new 3D model as the DSi and DS Lite receive price cuts.

Apple’s Steve Jobs has been taking questions regarding Flash, iPads, iPhone 4 and Google TV and we have a run-down of what the Apple top dog had to say on the matters.
