Xbox: Kinect sensor ‘needs quiet’

In possibly the most concerning development so far, Microsoft has admitted in a developer video that the eagerly awaited Xbox Kinect peripheral will need at least 6 feet of space and a clean and tidy space to work in. Does your living room size up? Let us know on Twitter.

Nintendo 3DS Christmas delay

Continuing the games theme, Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata has explained that millions of us will miss out on a 3D gaming Christmas, because of potential stock shortage issues. Never stopped anyone before Iwata, but thanks for thinking of us. The Nintendo 3DS is set to land in Japan on 26 February.

iOS 4.2 enables iPad tethering?

A snatched screenshot has revealed internet tethering settings for the iPad. A screenshot from an iPad 3G running on 3's network, shows a dedicated section for the feature which currently only enables iPhone users to share their internet connection with a laptop or desktop computer.
