Kinect

Welcome to your nightly round-up of the day's news and goings on courtesy of T3.com.

Apple’s Mac App Store is now more than a mere pipedream as Steve Jobs officially announces the Mac App Store will launch on January 6th. Why this post-Christmas date you may ask? Well, in a more than slightly petty manner, Jobs has decided to launch the new app store on the same day CES 2011 kicks off. Other Apple Mac themed news today as Apple is reportedly working on new MacBook Pro and iMac devices to launch early in 2011. January 6th arrival on the cards? Possibly.

Great mobile deals are a bit of a rare breed but Three Mobile is looking to change that as it unveils its new truly unlimited mobile data plan. Dubbed 'Mango' the update is expected to land in August with a bevy of new software features for Microsoft filled pocket blowers.

Topless Tron: Legacy is a phrase that will have many a man and teenage boy perking up and that is what gentleman's magazine Playboy is counting on as it unveils the Playboy topless Tron homage feature a couple of Playmates and a LightCycle.
