Welcome to your nightly roundup of the day's news, reviews and goings on courtesy of T3.com.

It's been another busy day for the tech world - here's the best of the days news in digestible format:

O2 has created their own version of the good the bad and the ugly today with a string of announcements. First off, the good and the announcement O2 will host the Apple iPhone 4 on PAYG from launch day. Secondly is the bad and a less than perfect early upgrade deal for iPhone 4 customers. Finally, the downright ugly and O2's decision to scrap inclusive unlimited data packages in place of money-spinning pay-as-you-use style data plans. Many O2 customers will not be happy bunnies.

Apple's iPad tablet took the world by storm when launched but now finds itself in stormy waters following a data breech at AT&T in the states that saw the private information of 114,000 iPad owners leaked by a hack. iPad owners do have something to smile about though, a possible quirky addition to the tablet range of accessories, a holder to make the iPad look like a classic Apple Mac. Finally the OS that will give the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch the coveted multitasking, iOS 4 has leaked online.

Home entertainment systems got some rather lovely additions today as Ofcom announced HDTV sales have boomed ahead of the World Cup which starts tomorrow. Sony had a couple of new products to unveil for the home today too. The PS3 saw the launch of its first 3D gaming content and Sony also announced that their first 3D TVs, the Sony Bravia HX803 3D TV would launch in shops tomorrow.
