Apple's Mac App Store is now more than a mere pipedream as Steve Jobs officially announces the Mac App Store will launch on January 6th. Why this post-Christmas date you may ask? Well, in a more than slightly petty manner, Jobs has decided to launch the new app store on the same day CES 2011 kicks off. Other Apple Mac themed news today as Apple is reportedly working on new MacBook Pro and iMac devices to launch early in 2011. January 6th arrival on the cards? Possibly.
