New Xbox 360 Arcade coming August?

Amazon listing says 4GB model in the offing

New look coming to lower end model if German retailer is on-the-money.

A new Xbox 360 Arcade is just a month away. That’s according to Amazon’s German site, which has placed a listing for a pared down version of Microsoft’s new-look console.

Costing €149 (£124), it’s set to pack in 4GB of storage, as opposed to a whacking 250GB on the new top-end effort. The release date is said to be 20 August, which ties in with the annual Gamescom convention in Germany.

Microsoft said after E3 that an Arcade version of the slimline hub would be forthcoming after showing off the new slim version in LA. That model is due to go on sale here in Blighty on Friday.
