New iPod touch: more leaked pics

Shots show off FaceTime camera on refreshed PMP

Images follow yesterday's talk of new iPod touch landing next month.

The new iPod touch has made its way into the wild once again, this time with its LCD panel being the subject of cheeky spy shots.

The front panel clearly shows room for a FaceTime camera up top, proving that Apple wants to bring its voice chat tech over from the iPhone 4. The rest of the model appears to be the same as the current iPod touch.

Other angles of the panel show it was made on 29 April this year, while it also has an Apple copyright stamp. However, the photos don’t shed any light on whether the touch will finally come with a camera, as was planned for the 2009 edition.
