These latest snaps were taken by parts firm ETrade Supply and seem to confirm that the new device will feature the same 4:3 aspect ratio as the current iPad models.

The screen in the picture measures 162 x 124mm and, according to text on the back, was manufactured for Apple by LG Display.

Other pictures also show the purported battery pack for the iPad mini with specs listing it as a 4490mAh Li-ion Polymer Battery running at 3.722, complete with model number.

Apple is almost certain to unveil the iPad mini over in San Francisco on October 23, after press invites promised Cupertino has a “little more” to show off.
