Ahead of this November’s eagerly awaited Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 release date, developer Activision has unveiled a new Black Ops 2 trailer focussing on the game’s new super villain, Raul Menendez.

Offering a new look at the futuristic first-person shooter and the narrative that surrounds the latest instalment to the iconic gaming franchise, the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 surrounds the beginnings of the war that will see gamers fight against a series of advanced weapons in the year 2025

Providing more details of the villainous focal point of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 release, Activision has stated: "Raul Menendez is idolized as the Messiah of the 99%, yet underneath the surface lurks an insidious mastermind hell bent on global insurrection."

Confirmed as heading to the standard platforms, an Xbox 360, Sony PS3 and PC Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 UK release date has been set for November 13th with retailers once again expected to swing open their doors at midnight to welcome eager gamers keen to get their mitts of the 2010 Black Ops follow-on.
