Digital Compact Cameras reviews
Netgear has unveiled the latest addition to their VueZone home monitoring systems; the Add-on Night Vision Camera, allowing users to monitor their homes wirelessly in the dark.
Unveiled at CES 2013 in Las Vegas, the networking company claims that the two-part camera is the only wire-free night vision camera on the market and includes motion detection technology, which sends an email to users when motion is detected up to 15 feet from the camera.
A separate infrared lamp allows users to light up different locations, giving them a variety of options for illuminating scenes in low light and darkness.
The VueZone Night Vision Camera forms part of Netgear’sVueZone range, so anyone wanting to purchase the Night Vision Camera will first have to invest in a base station from Netgear, too.
Users will be able to monitor their cameras on-the-go via any of the popular web browsers, as well as both iOS and Android devices.
The camera (VZCN2060) is available immediately worldwide, with an RRP of $129.99 (around £80).
