NFS: Hot Pursuit looking to capitalise on repeated Gran Turismo delays
EA has launched the free playable demo of its upcoming addition to the Need for Speed gaming franchise as Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit attempts to capitalise on the repeated delays to rival Gran Turismo 5.
Available now from Xbox LIVE exclusively for Xbox LIVE Gold members the NFS:HP demo will, according to the EA description, allow eager gamers to: “Experience the intensity of Cops versus Racers for the connected generation with one Hot Pursuit and one Race event that challenges each player to set the best times amongst their friends.”
Due for full release on November 18th, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will allow gamers to compete on either side of the racer vs. cop battle of the high speed street racing scene with those users who download the demo and go on to buy the full title being gifted a 500 Cop Bounty and 500 Racer Bounty as free downloadable content assuming they use the same EA account.
Weighing in a 1.4GB, the demo is a sizable one that will be hoping to tempt gamers away from the continuing wait for the latest edition to the GT series.
