Mozilla teases upcoming Firefox for Android updates

Mozilla has teased an update to the Android edition of its much loved Firefox browser, promising a big announcement ahead of this week’s Google I/O conference.
Taking to social media site Twitter in order to make the announcement, Mozilla teased: "#Firefox for #Android. Something BIG is coming your way next week. mzl.la/KqFX3n," with the link taking followers to a Flickr image showing the Firefox logo on a Nexus handset accompanied by the words “Fast. Smart. Safe.”
With Google expected to take to the Google I/O stage to unveil version 4.1 of its much loved mobile operating system, Android Jelly Bean, it is widely expected the search giant will unveil a smartphone rendition of its Chrome browser is to become the default web service on future Android devices.
Whilst Mozilla has teased its upcoming Firefox for Android overhaul, the company is also expected to out a native iPad browser in the coming days set to fall under the title of ‘Firefox Junior’.
