Motorola MOTOACTV software update increases battery life
New clock faces, a stopwatch and an extended battery life for prolonged training sessions hit the MOTOACTV in new software update
Motorola has announced a new software update for its recently released fitness tracker the Motorola MOTOACTV with the sports gadget come PMP to add new battery saving features.
Adding a bevy of new features to the already impressive sports monitor, the MOTOACTV, which comes packaged with a wrist strap turning the device into a watch, will see a number of new clock faces introduced in the first major software update since launch.
“At MOTOACTV, our goal is to help you enjoy a longer, healthier life,” an official Motorola spokesperson said. “Our latest software upgrade lets you enjoy a longer battery life too—up to 8 hours of uninterrupted workout time outdoors. That’s a huge improvement from our previous release. You’ll also get new clock faces, a new stopwatch feature and much more.”
Those already sporting Motorola’s first foray into fitness and wellbeing tracking gadgets can add to the running, cycling, elliptical and step monitoring device now simply by plugging their device into a computer and downloading the latest software update.
